"Emotional states can be transferred directly from one individual to another by mimicry and "emotional contagion," perhaps by the copying of emotionally relevant bodily actions, particularly facial expressions, seen in others. People can "catch" emotional states they observe in others over time frames ranging from seconds to weeks.”

Artlink and Alice and Anthony asked staff throughout the Western General Hospital to give us the day-to-day movements they do at their work - ie, typing, bending by a bedside, etc. We wanted to find a fun way to talk about being active, healthy and the commonalities we all share in the work-force. As part of the Healthy Working Lives campaign, this project aims to use dance, film and photographs to show the hospital as a community of creative, active and talented people.
